The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce is accepting questions for its candidates forum later this month featuring State Sen. Emmett Hanger, R-Mount Solon, and his challenger in the GOP primary, Lexington businessman Scott Sayre.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on May 29th at Blue Ridge Community College’s Robert E. Plecker Workforce Center. =
Forum questions can be submitted to the chamber of commerce, care of Ben Carter, 30 Ladd Road, P.O. Box 1107, Fishersville, Va., 22939.

It is good to see a local news media host a forum between these two candidates to get the issues out there for the public to see. I would love to see another local media outlet host a true "Debate" between the candidates and it has been suggested to our local newspaper... Still have not heard back from that newspaper even after I promised to bring the donuts... Typical?
