Welcome aboard Joe. What part of the state are you from? Do you even live in Virginia? Have you ever met Emmett Hanger?
Or are you just another crony from outside the valley taking marching orders from Grover Norquist?
If you pile up 17 pieces of garbage it doesn't take away from the fact that it's still just garbage.

Forgive me if I don't respect one word you say after the way you've attempted to tear down Emmett Hanger as recently as your latest post.
I don't feel that calling it as I see it is calling names at all. There are now 17 individuals spreading the same lies on one board. If you take a pile of garbage, multiply it 17 times, and then pile it together...you still have garbage. My comment was geared toward the toxic words you guys spew, but you can choose to interpret it anyway you please.

He sent a mailer out to the people he represents. This includes Republicans, Democrats and Independents. Anarchists? Moveon.orgers...come on Yankee...Did you think you were being kind when you posted that? Did you think it wasn't mean spirited?
Emmett Hanger is the most socially conservative guy in Richmond. George Allen once said he had never seen anyone that disliked taxes more than Emmett.
Emmett Hanger dislikes taxes as much as anyone, but he hates dishonesty a whole lot more. It's simply not Republican to basically take out a state credit card on things we need to pay for so the constituents can be told their taxes weren't raised.
If you have kids Yankee I would hope you teach them a little more responsibly than that. I personally don't intend to shortchange my kids. That's one of the main reasons I support Emmett Hanger.
TR, we have a member of Moveon.org running for office here in Augusta. There is a Democrat running a fundraiser for Sen.Hanger. He is getting most of his campaign dollars from outside the Valley.
And if he dislikes taxes, why does he call people who want to curb them, "Extremists"?
To be fair to Emmett, his phrase regarding anti-tax extremists was mostly established for the audience of Grover Norquist.
I thought Lynn's blog was especially entertaining recently. She mentioned David vs Goliath implying that Sayre is the David. Meanwhile folks like Walter Curt are pumping thousands of dollars through VCAP in an effort to destroy Emmett. I'm more reminded of George Bailey (Emmett Hanger) vs. Potter (Walter Curt). Curt hates anything he can't buy. The irony of Curt's position on taxes though is he made all of his millions off the federal government. I guess taxes were ok back then when he was benefiting from them.
Now Grover Norquist...He does things a little differently. Every time someone signs his pledge he's bought them.

One last thing about your recent comment Yankee...
Emmett Hanger was in the legislative session up until March and had only just begun raising money when the last report came out.
I wouldn't push the issue of Emmett not bringing in much money from the district too hard considering the new reports come out next week.
I know he's had a lot of fundraisers and I expect things will look a little different this time.
TR, you still didn't answer "Where did I tear him down? Was that mailer that he sent to "the people he represents" about the "REPUBLICAN" primary? Is Lee Godfrey(a member of Moveon) not a person he represents? Was I factually wrong? Did he send an absentee ballot to these people? If you are truly a republican, shouldn't you be upset by this attempt to dismantle the party?
Is this the same Teddy who's blog wrongly pointed out that GGD is part of B4S?

I had absolutely nothing to do with Bloggers 4 Hanger, and for the record was disgusted by what people were throwing up there.

I'm not a Republican Yankee and it says on my blog I'm not. I am socially conservative and fiscally responsible. I generally believe that an individual knows better than the government the best way to spend their hard earned money, but I also believe in funding core services.
I will never label myself to one party. Should I sit back and let my elected leader be taken out without a popular vote? I'm not a Republican, yet I'm proud to be voting in my first Republican primary.
Well Sen.Hanger got atleast one vote from his mailing.

I've thought about that and you're actually right. I did speak incorrectly on the actual number of liars 4 sayre. By my count there are 7.

The rest are just nameplates from outside the area. You could misrepresent that you have 1,000 liars 4 sayre and nobody would be impressed. As I mentioned yesterday...stack a whole bunch of it up and it still smells the same.

CORRECTION:
Actually, disregard the last two sentences of my previous post. One of the people I know, who does Blog for Sayre, is not listed as a Blogger4Sayre. I thought he was.
My observation of TR's running off at the mouth is really funny. First his assumed name of TR shows his opinion of himself. My thought is he wouldn't make a pimple on the real TR's butt.
His attitude shows disrespect and immaturity toward others and a total lack of knowledge about the REAL EMMETT HANGER, in other words IGNORANCE.
His parents should take his computer away from him and should have raised him in a better manner. Then again most far left dems I have talked to resort to being childish, disrespectful, name calling, loudmouth, obnoxious bores . When you try to talk to them with civility and common sense they call you a liar and anything else they want and walk away in anger. When you resort to those actions refusing to debate the issues learning from others knowledge you show ignorance and stupidity.
By his (TR'S) own actions he has failed in getting his point across by resorting to childish behavior.
