Waldo's 'Special Glasses'

Elle wonders here:
"Waldo recently came to the defense of a relatively obscure blogger by thename of Andrew Clem. Clem lives in Staunton and is a self-proclaimed Republican.Waldo lives in Charlottesville and is obviously a mouthpiece for the left-wingdemocrats."

"Bloggers post under psuedonyms all the time, it’s common practice in theblogosphere in general. Why is it only an issue when people want to blast thepro-Sayre bloggers? It’s often been an issue — people have debated the topicloud and long. There’s nothing new in that regard here. The only thing that’sunusual in this instance is that there’s such a large collection of peopleblogging stridently and pseudonymously on a single site dedicated to a singlecandidate. It’s especially extraordinary given that one of these pseudonymousbloggers who’s posting the nastiest things is Kurt Michael, the chair of theAugusta County Republican Party. We’ve never seen anything like this before."

"Waldo:What has you so peeved obviously is that us Conservatives have organizedso well to get Sayre’s message out, and put out for public consumption Sen.Hanger’s voting record, and attitudes without a media filter…You might evensay B4S is an aggregator… GASP! Like an issue oriented aggreator. As a note, have you seen GGD as a contributor on B4S? Do you have a ’special set ofglasses’ that has GGD showing up in your browser… & it is quite fun to watchthe speculation as to GGD’s identity/ies….Saywhat:Exactly what venom do yourefer? Has someone been ‘attacked’ again? Seems like the dog can take a simplegraphic or two and save hundreds of words to draw connections, and that has youguys all in a tizzy…Face it Liberals do not own the blogosphere as youdominate the MSM… isn’t that what all this indignation is all about? When aConservative starts hitting home, they are all of a sudden ‘mean sprited’, fullof ‘venom’, & extremists…."
His retort:

"As a note, have you seen GGD as a contributor on B4S? Do you have a ’special setof glasses’ that has GGD showing up in your browser…No. Have you seenunderwater space monkeys as a contributor on this blog by using your supertelescopic banana-goggles?(We are just asking inane, unrelated questionsabout nonexistent assertions now, aren’t we?)"
seems our dear friend Waldo is seeing things he doesn't like... An organized effort by a lot of Conservative bloggers to advocate for our Candidate, and totally bypass the filter of the Liberal Dominated MSM...
That's got to hurt..

You are exactly right-on, Spanky. Now that we have a collective voice to counter the lefty libs, they aren't happy.

The best part is having so many of our fellow conservative bloggers statewide helping to get the word out about Scott Sayre ... bloggers who are known and respected in the Virginia political blogosphere.

Well I dunno about the defense and all that stuff; but Andrew was correct; none of the SWAC bloggers on this site have their name public.
Much like myself; a lot of people know who I am but I do not have my name public.
A new blogger or non-related party would no idea who any of SWACers are on here.
Not sure how much difference that makes; but he is correct in his assessment of that.

Yeah, i think it's important that everyone make their identity public. It really affects the message... right? (he, he)

Rather than face the issues we raise about Senator Hanger's voting record, and debate the facts.

Ironically, we consistently have anonymous commenters complain that we are anonymous?

This is a simple tactic right out of the Clinton playbook... Ignore the message, and attack the credibility of the messenger.

Now isn't it funny, that a 3 term Republican Senator is being associated with that tactic, and it makes you wonder who it actually is coming from.

Hokie:
So true at least 10 of our B4S crew is very well known by name in the VA Blogosphere... The best part of this rediculous line of reasoning from anonymous comments to psuedo bloggers... is that the every day bloggers are getting a good laugh... they know the issues and they know the players in B4S.
